Farshid immigrated to Vancouver, BC soon after acquiring his masters of Architecture in Tehran, Iran. He has since worked on the design of numerous high profile buildings in Canada.  As principal, Farshid calls on his extensive architectural experience to manage the operations of Unison Architecture Ltd.

Since 2008, Farshid has had the opportunity to work with First Nation communities throughout British Columbia as well as Health Canada, First Nation Health Authority and INAC. Over the course of this journey, he has learned much about aboriginal traditions in Canada and made many good friends within aboriginal communities.

Prior to establishing Unison Architecture, Farshid was the Project Architect at David Nairne + Associates for the Kwadacha Health and Administration Centre, the Huu-ay-aht Multi-Purpose Building, and the Yekooche Health Centre. Before his work at David Nairne and Associates, he was fortunate enough to work with a variety of architectural firms in Vancouver which include: Kasian, KMBR, Bing Thom and Rafii Architects.

As a LEED® accredited professional and Passivehouse Canada member Farshid understands the importance of implementing sustainable technologies and sees every project as an opportunity for everyone involved.
