COLLABORATION AND TEAMWORK IN PURSUIT OF EXCELLENCE
ASSIST OUR CLIENTS TO ACHIEVE THEIR CULTURAL AND ECONOMIC POTENTIALS THROUGH INNOVATIVE DESIGN
Unison Architecture Ltd. (Unison) is a licensed firm with the Architectural Institute of British Columbia (AIBC). We provide design excellence to Private, Public, First Nations and Communities across Canada.
Unison is a team of passionate professionals who work in collaboration with clients, users, communities and other disciplines in search of outstanding meaningful solutions.
We are design professionals with practical ideas. Our ideas are meaningful, pragmatic and low maintenance. During the design process we learn a tremendous amount regarding the requirements and operation of each facility. We use these parameters to shape our design in collaboration with user groups.
Unison Architecture is specialized in the design of high performance buildings that last long. In collaboration with our clients, engineers and contractors, we implement strategies such as Passive House and LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) in our projects to benefit our clients. We believe in environmentally conscious design that can shape our communities for many generations to come.
Our firm provides full Architectural services from inception to completion. This includes: Feasibility Studies, Programming, Budgeting, Architectural Design, Preparation of Contract Documents, Pre-Qualifications of Contractors, Assistance in Selection of Contractors, Procurement of Contracts, and Contract Administration.
Consultation and Need Assessment is critical to our design process. During this process we work with the client and user groups to determine the needs and project requirement to deliver a functional, economical and collaborative solution. As professional designers we understand the costs of a building, from it’s capital to operation and maintenance.
Each client we work with is unique, and as a result, so is each building. Our client’s requirements and vision are fundamental to a project’s success.
We believe well designed buildings empower their occupants and neighbourhoods. Responsibly designed buildings have little impact on planet earth and our environment as they can function much more efficiently than conventionally designed buildings.
